Kirstie
House Captain
Welcome to Hereford House!
Hi everyone! I am Kirstie Kyefulumya, and I am incredibly proud to be your House Captain for Hereford this year. I was thrilled to hear the House System is returning—it was always a core tradition that united us as a school community, but its absence lowered morale. That’s why I’m passionate about reviving it, stronger than ever. As your House Captain, I aim to reignite that sense of pride, purpose, and unity. However, the House System is more than just points and competitions—it’s about belonging, teamwork, and lifting each other up. Whether you’re taking part in sports, arts, or academic challenges; I want every Hereford student to feel confident, included, and motivated to achieve their best. Hereford’s symbol, the hawk, perfectly captures our spirit. Hawks represent watchfulness, speed, and precision—qualities that are essential not only in nature but in competition, too. As this is my final year at Arthur Terry, I am eager to represent Hereford and leave a legacy behind. I want to challenge the stigma around student leadership—it is empowering, not “embarrassing”. I also want to inspire others to lead with pride in the future. Together, let’s make this year unforgettable and victorious for the Hereford Hawks!
