UCAS Covid Statement

Students suffered considerable impact on their learning during September 2020 – 2022. During the first national lockdown between March and July 2020, students received lessons in the form of pre-recorded powerpoints and worksheets. At this stage, students did not receive learning via live lessons. During the second national lockdown, between January to March 2021, students received their education via live lessons. In addition to national closures, Arthur Terry needed to close this cohort bubble Y12 between 10^th to 16^th November & 28^th June to 2^nd July, again students received remote live lessons during this time. If a student had to isolate outside of these periods they received their education via a mixture of live lessons and pre-recorded powerpoints.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
