Unifrog
A paid for service that includes the Uk’s best Apprenticeship search tool for: Traineeships; Level 1 or Level 2 (equivalent to GCSEs or below). Lasting a maximum of 6 months, they are unpaid but you gain skills and qualifications, Intermediate: Level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSEs), Advanced: Level 3 (equivalent to 2 Alevels), Higher: Level 4 and above (equivalent to Foundation degree and higher) & Degree apprenticeships: Level 6 or Level 7 (equivalent to Bachelor’s or master’s degree), plus bespoke employer, School Leaver Programmes.
Unifrog is also has a useful careers profiles database, is used to assess students’ skills & competencies, University search tool and UCAS Application writing framework.
All AT students have personal Unifrog accounts. Students need to amend their unique login details via links sent to students’ school e-mail accounts.
Pathway
Pathway organises bespoke company Insight events at Arthur Terry & most frequently, within organisations’ offices & offers personal mentoring & support to KS5 students applying for apprenticeships, school leaver programmes, internships and paid work experience placements. All KS5 students have the opportunity of personal Pathway logins using the path19 access code.
Launchpad
‘Launchpad’ is a free, web-based resource that enables young people to begin engaging with potential career paths and their associated labour market information (i.e. salaries, projected employment etc…). The Career Matcher tool links students’ personal attributes & preferences to allied job sectors and specific roles. The tool includes a bank of thousands of career role videos.
Start
Similarly, ‘Start’ is another extremely powerful, free, web-based resource that enables students to explore the work of work via subject/s, interests, skills, employer or industry. Again the search tools are jam-packed full of the latest labour market information linked to government data sets. A thoroughly recommended site for all students.
I-could
I-could is another free, web-based resource that allows young people to search for employment inspiration and is jam-packed with casestudies and videos of job roles.
