Alex has strategic oversight for developing Arthur Terry’s stable careers programme in addition to coordinating the school’s enrichment offering. He is the school’s EPQ Coordinator & teaches A Level Politics & KS3/4 Humanities.

Sam Clayton, Careers Advisor

Sam is responsible for offering independent careers guidance & advice to all Arthur Terry students, with particular emphasis as pupils approach key transition points.

Ken Hutchinson, Arthur Terry’s Careers Enterprise Company Advisor

Ken visits Arthur Terry each half-term (alongside Careers Enterprise Co-ordinator, Jackie Plimmer) to assist with the reviewing and forward planning of AT’s careers offer. Ken is a retired, senior NHS HR manager who pioneered the first ever nursing apprenticeship training pathway. Ken regularly serves on employment tribunal boards and in addition to his Arthur Terry Careers consultancy role is also the Lead Advisor for the CEC’s Birmingham hub.

Darren Priddey, Careers Governor

Darren qualified as an accountant 20 years ago, has worked for BT, PwC Consulting, Interserve, Sandvik, SAPA, NextiraOne, Argos, BAA, Northgate and Thresher. Darren currently runs his own financial consultancy & project management firm.
