Enrichment (Non-Qualifications)
The Sixth Form at Arthur Terry offer a plethora of enrichment opportunities over and above formal qualifications.
Student Leadership
Sixth formers can become members of a range of committees, including: Wellbeing, Equality and Diversity, Charity and Eco. Students can also apply to become a Senior School Leader through a rigorous application system.
Post 18 Pathways
Students are prepared for Post 18 choices through:
UCAS preparation – Oxbridge, Medics, Early Application workshops, Russell Group Focus Group, completing applications, personal statement writing, outside speakers from a range of universities, including Keble College, Oxford and Aberystwyth University.
Students are also given access to a range of online resources:
Springpod, Unifrog, CTM Pathway, Young Professionals UK, NGTU, Internal Teams and AT Careers Twitter page, Careers Spotlight, Careers Live.
Careers advisor – dedicated weekly drop-in service.
Work Experience and volunteering
Students can choose one of these as their enrichment opportunity in Year 12. There are also opportunities for virtual work experience.
After school clubs
A wealth of opportunities, including Cookery, Magazine, Football, Debate Club, Gardening, Cross Country, Couch to 5k
Mentoring
In class support, Reading Programme, Buddy up, Hello Monday and bespoke 1-1 support from Sixth Formers to peers or younger students.
PSHCE

Performing Arts
Sixth formers can become involved in music clubs and concerts, dance and drama productions.
